JOVANA TOMIĆ was born in Belgrade in 1990. She obtained her BA and MA at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade, Theatre Directing department. Some of her directions include: The Ridiculous Darkness (Atelje 212), Lolita (Madlenianum), Lysistrata (National Theatre Subotica), If Twice Rotates the Weather Vane/ Waiting for Future (Paolo Grassi, Bussole rotte), Going Out (Drugstore, 20/44), Nathan the Wise and My Husband (Yugoslav Drama Theatre), On the Darkening Green (National Theatre in Belgrade), Moving (Bitef Theatre), The Hurting Kolo - A Folk Love Dance (National Theatre Užice), Obscene Days of Johnny Long Johnson (Novi Sad Theatre Újvidéki Színház).
As for international professional development programmes, she was a part of ASSITEJ (Frankfurt, Kaposvár), New Tides platform (Bristol), Bussole rotte festival (Milan), YOUPerform program (Thalia Theatre Hamburg an Yugoslav Drama Theatre), and many others. 
She has received Neda Depolo award. The performance Moving has won six awards at 65th theatre festival Sterijino Pozorje.
