We regretfully inform Bitef's audience and the public that, despite enormous efforts invested by both Schaubuehne and Bitef, we are forced to cancel the performance Enemy of the People directed by Thomas Ostermeier planned for September 19th at 20h on the Main stage of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
Together with our partners, we have done everything in our power to make this guest performance possible, but the fact that the epidemiological situation in the country is getting more unstable and that Serbia is again on the list of high-risk areas for many countries, has prevented us from achieving our goal. Because of these factors, a large-scale guest performance like Enemy of the People cannot be realized without endangering the health of the performers, members of the production teams, and the audience.
