We walk through the city with Jovana Bila Dubaić, a biologist, and Milja Vuković of the Wild Belgrade initiative, paying attention to the natural world of the urban system and the many precious ways in which it contributes to the city’s health and good functioning. How do we step out of the collapsing anthropocentric paradigm and step into a sustainable future of togetherness, a symbiosis with the natural world? Sustainable cities, cities of the future, imply a series of high technologies that are already all around us, and their chief engineer is - Nature.
