On singing and non-silence
Is Sterija’s play Haidouks with singing or about singing?
One aspect which, unfortunately, has persisted until today is the pollution of relationships in any group, and the problem of hierarchy based on force, deception, and intimidation… The one who ventures into freedom is the one whose chances were initially slimmest: Zelida, a Turk, a young woman, war prisoner, who lives and survives misfortune, and says: “I shall not keep quiet”. What is left, therefore, is to not keep quiet. That is what we can begin with.

Follow-up discussion will take place after the performance.
